Thsi is a portrait of Drew. His mother says, "My son was a second-year medical resident at Rush University Medical Center, a large, urban hospital in Chicago, when COVID hit. He spent much of the next two years taking care of very sick COVID patients while studying and striving to keep his wife and young son (and later, his daughter) safe. It was trial by fire for sure, albeit good training for a physician. Our family is very proud of him and he's a wonderful physician!
